Lets get started

A bit of backtracking for a start. So here's an older picture I took a couple of weeks back, of the view I enjoy every morning when I roll up the shutter.

Taking the car or the bike for a spin you end up in Watterdingen and if you don't mind a bumpy rural road up a hill you can arrive at this scenic vista.

Coming up next: More pictures from around the Lake Constance and of all the Hegau mountains and castle ruins on top of them. Some of those from my Archive and some of them as I get there.

Pack your bags ...

... we are leaving. Not on a jet plane though, but rather on foot. Through the woods, up the hill, down the hill, enjoying the view (exhausted).

So what will you read here? Not much, to be honest, but I will accompany the pretty pictures with a few descriptive words on where you should go to see for yourself where they have been taken. I will also add some historic background when I feel like it's noteworthy.

Post themselves will contain pictures in high def, meaning uploaded to Panoramio after I stitched them together usually in the 30 to 50 megapixel range, some "ordinary" photos hosted on Picasa, and the occasional "mobile upload teaser".
You sure could just bookmark the links in the navigation bar up there, but if you want some context to all the pixels you are better off subscribing to the RSS feed or check back here now and then.

I'm hoping Wanderfuel will be able to fuel your wanderlust.
